Children are born into social studies. From birth, they begin exploring their world. At each stage of early childhood development children examine as they try to make sense of their social and physical environments. They gradually learn more about themselves, their families, their individual customs and traditions and their communities as well as their country and the world they live in.
Children learn about diversity in the population and how all people are different. At each stage of early development, infant, toddler, pre-school and pre-kindergarten, Smarty Pants Pre- School’s custom curriculum introduces various approaches. All about me, all about my family, all about the community, the different states of the United States of America and the different countries of world.
The lessons conclude with fun filled celebrations with samplings of different foods, music, customs, traditions, and clothing.
